MSHA will put more money into its enforcement and standards development programs while taking away funds for training and small mines consultation under a proposed $371.9 million budget for fiscal year (FY) 2013 unveiled today.  The requested appropriation represents a slight decrease from MSHA’s FY 2012 budget of $372.5 million.
