MSHA Inspector Arrested in Kentucky

An MSHA coal inspector has been arrested following a vehicle accident in Eastern Kentucky.

According to the Appalachian News-Express, Jason Tyler Skeens, 37, of Pikeville was arrested early Sunday after he allegedly wrecked his vehicle, then told Pikeville police officer Josh Lawson several times that he was a federal law enforcement officer.

According to court documents, Skeens had two guns in his possession at the time of the accident.  He is charged with DUI, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, impersonating a peace officer and traffic charges.
